We are a fellowship group that provides college scholarships and mentorship to students who have lost a parent in La Grange, Western Springs, La Grange Park, Countryside, Indian Head Park, La Grange Highlands, Brookfield and surrounding areas.

To engage and inspire our community by honoring the legacy of those in our Lyons Township High School District 204 community who have died by providing their surviving children with significant four year college scholarships along with networking and mentoring support.

The Legacy Guild was founded in 2012 by a group of men from the La Grange area who were drawn together after several sudden and unexpected deaths of treasured friends and neighbors. The organization formed within weeks of these tragic events to offer support to each other and to transcend our grief and sorrow. Our support group is faith-based and provides fellowship opportunities for men to discuss important issues, including how to be a better father, husband, son, brother, neighbor and friend. The scholarship program grew out of these initial fellowship meetings.

The Foundation of the Legacy Guild is designated as a federal 501(c)(3) charitable organization and registered with the State of Illinois. Tax ID # 46-0888441
