The Legacy Guild holds an annual golf outing to raise funds for new and existing scholars which has included a golf scramble, raffle, tennis clinic, bags tournament and dinner.

The Ninth Annual Golf Outing was held on September 24, 2020 at La Grange Country Club and raised more than $60,000. Proceeds from the fundraiser were split with The LeaderShop, another local organization which supports youth in our area.

Helping others is one of our underlying missions. The Legacy Guild reached out to The LeaderShop to offer their support since The LeaderShop had to cancel their annual benefit fundraiser due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s event had to be scaled down a bit but the fun and camaraderie were just as strong. There were 25 foursomes of golfers that hit the course on a beautiful sunny day. Box lunches and drinks were provided and gift certificates to restaurants were purchased and given to each golfer to support local small businesses.
