2018-2019 Legacy Guild Scholars

LA GRANGE, IL – 78 students living in Lyons Township District 204 have received scholarships from The Legacy Guild, a local nonprofit. The Legacy Guild awarded $195,000 in scholarships to students who have had a parent die while being raised in the area, according to a release.

Each Legacy Guild Scholar receives a $2,500 scholarship renewable for up to four years of college – a commitment of up to $10,000 per student. According to a release, The Legacy Guild has now provided $673,500 in college scholarship awards to 110+ students since its inception in 2012.

This year’s Legacy Guild Scholars represent 10 communities including Brookfield, Burr Ridge, Countryside, Hodgkins, Indian Head Park, La Grange, La Grange Highlands, La Grange Park, Western Springs and Willow Springs.
