The Legacy Guild raises over $90K for college scholarships for local students at Summer Fundraiser held July 23; Additional fundraisers will be held September 30, 2021
Summer Event co-chair and incoming Board President Ryan Williamson of La Grange said, “We were excited to gather together with our supporters and enjoy a great fun evening while raising money for our Scholars.”
Attendees enjoyed a full dinner with cocktails under a tent pool-side at the beautiful Chicago Highlands Club in Westchester. There was Live music along with wine tasting and bourbon tasting stations. Donors provided awesome items for a silent auction as well.
“At each event we are again humbled by the generosity of new and returning sponsors and donors,” added Liam Bresnahan, Legacy Guild Board Member and Co-Chair of Summer Fundraiser.
On Thursday, September 30, The Legacy Guild will host two fundraisers. Attendees can attend one or both. In the afternoon the 10th annual golf outing will take place at the La Grange Country Club. In the evening, a fundraiser event will be held at The Elm in downtown La Grange. This unique event will have the feel of a Vegas Lounge Night with dinner, drinks and LIVE music. Sponsors will be recognized at both events.
During the evening event, we will be presenting Joan Smothers (Smothers Group with Compass) with the Community Champion Award for her dedication to improving the Lyons Township Community through her generous support of local charitable organizations.
